SIKESTON -- United We Stand American will hold a town hall meeting Thursday at the Sikeston Armory, 711 S. Main St., at 7 p.m.
The meeting is one of many being held across the country to solicit opinions about a possible new political party.
United We Stand America officials are asking if a new political party would be good for America and who or what group might form such a party.
The group's Missouri executive director, Sandy McClure, said her office responds to questions about a new political party nearly every day.
She said she and the national headquarters are weary of the constant questions and have scheduled the town hall meetings to get some input from the public.
