UNITED WAY SEEKS AWARD NOMINEES

Nominations for the annual Area Wide United Way volunteer awards are being sought.

Ameritech and the United Way will honor volunteers during a program in April.

Nomination forms have been mailed to service clubs, organizations, churches and agencies. To request a form, call the United Way at 334-9634.

Forms must be completed by March 27.

Volunteers will be judged in three categories: youth and young adult (25 years and younger); adult (ages 26-59); and senior adult (age 60 and over). A fourth category will recognize a group or organization.

Criteria for judging includes performing a vital volunteer job with emphasis on 1994 volunteerism to an organization or the community.
