POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Two Poplar Bluff woman were arrested for robbing two Taco Bell restaurants.

Brittany M. Cannon, 20, and Stephanie N. Parkison, 26, were arrested Tuesday in Poplar Bluff for allegedly robbing a Dexter, Mo., Taco Bell. While being interviewed about the armed robbery, Parkison confessed to the Dexter robbery and a similar one last week in Poplar Bluff, said Poplar Bluff deputy chief Jeff Rolland.

In the Poplar Bluff robbery, the women allegedly forced the employees into a walk-in cooler while the store manager to empty the safe and cash registers. In the Dexter robbery, Rolland said, the women used the same disguise of hooded sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces and displayed handguns, but did not force the employees into a cooler.

Rolland said search warrants would be served to locate the clothing and firearms allegedly used during the robberies. Rolland said he anticipated more arrests.
