Two teens seriously injured in one-vehicle accident

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Two Benton, Mo., teens received serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident Sunday.

The accident occurred on Route H, seven miles north of Sikeston, at 4:20 p.m. when a northbound vehicle, driven by Ryan C. Bambrough, 16, ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

Bambrough along with his passenger, 13-year-old Caitlyn Bambrough, both received serious injuries and were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
