SENATH, Mo. -- A Saturday traffic accident on Route V, three miles south of Senath, killed two teenagers.
A 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 17-year-old Corey Lee of Paragould, Arkansas, ran off the roadway and overturned, according to a Troop E report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Lee and a passenger, 18-year-old Tyler Ellington of Cardwell, Missouri, were thrown from the vehicle. Ellington was pronounced dead at the scene by Dunklin County Coroner James Powell. Lee was taken by Air Evac to a Memphis, Tennessee, hospital, where he died Sunday afternoon.
