Perry County, Missouri, sheriff's deputies arrested two people in possession of seven different types of drugs Tuesday, deputies said.
The Perry County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Peggy Ann Korn, 37, and Aaron Robert McDowell, 32, both of Perryville, Missouri, with three counts of intent to distribute a controlled substance, four counts of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Their bonds were set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Korn was the passenger in a car with Robert Little when deputies stopped the car about 3 p.m. Tuesday because Little was wanted for questioning in a trespassing case, according to a probable-cause statement filed by Perry County investigator Jason Kelley.
Detectives found a bag of methamphetamine in Little's pocket, and Korn's purse held a digital scale and 10 baggies containing a gram of marijuana each, Kelley wrote.
Before she was detained in Perry County Jail, Korn directed deputies to a makeup pouch under her hoodie, which contained an ounce of methamphetamine, five Adderall pills, five hydrocodone pills, one oxycodone pill and one clonzepam pill, according to the statement.
Deputies found several smaller bags of methamphamine in the makeup pouch, Kelley wrote.
Korn said she took all the drugs from McDowell's residence, according to the statement.
"Korn informed me she also saw the opportunity for her to support her habit and also make some money on the side with the amount of drugs located," Kelley wrote.
McDowell admitted all the drugs belonged to him and came from his bedroom, according to the statement.
