PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Two people are in custody after police found evidence of a marijuana-manufacturing operation at their home, the Perry County Sheriff's Department reported.
Jeffrey A. Baughman Jr. and Alexandria M. Nardulli, both 21, face multiple drug charges, including manufacturing more than five grams of marijuana within 2,000 feet of a school; distribution of a controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance other than marijuana; possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana; and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, the sheriff's department reported.
Officers from the Perry County Sheriff's Department, Perryville Police Department and SEMO Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Baughman and Nardulli's home at 10 Shawnee Circle in Perryville after learning illegal drugs likely would be on the premises, the sheriff's department reported.
Baughman and Nardulli were in jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Online court records show no prior offenses for either suspect.
