ST. LOUIS -- Two people are recovering after apparently being struck by lightning in separate incidents in St. Louis.
STLtoday.com, the website for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports that both strikes happened during a thunderstorm on Monday. A woman was struck at the Jewel Box in Forest Park. The 50-year-old woman was conscious and alert by the time paramedics arrived.
The other strike involved a 54-year-old man who was taken to Saint Louis University Hospital. He was also conscious and alert.
