During its Monday meeting, the Cape Girardeau County Commission filled one of the three vacancies on the board by appointing Bonnie Chaudoir. That leaves two vacancies to fill on the board that meets quarterly, said Donna Oldham, assistant to the commission.

Anyone interested in serving may apply for consideration by contacting Oldham at the commission offices in the County Administration Building, 1 Barton Square in Jackson.

The board directs the use of funds designated for mental health programs within the county and serves for three-year terms.
