Two men suffer moderate injuries in Cape Girardeau accident

Two men were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-car accident in the 4600 block of County Road 513.

Tim W. King, 47, of Cape Girardeau and Raymond M. Steadman, 23, of Elkhart, Ind., were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center. King, the driver, and Steadman, a passenger in King's car, were struck in the rear by Jacob C. Firmature, 27, of Lake Charles, La. Firmature was not injured.

Police said none of the men was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
