Two men were arrested on Friday in Cape Girardeau for allegedly possessing marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms with the intent to distribute.
Ryan A. Sharp, 24, of Columbia, Mo., and Devon M. Dale, 24, of Cape Girardeau, were arrested during a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau police spokesman Darin Hickey said. During further investigation, police found distribution quantities of marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms, as well as prescription Xanax and recently banned bath salts, reports said. Police also confiscated drug paraphernalia.
Sharp and Dale were charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (mushrooms, marijuana), two counts of possession of a controlled substance (bath salts, Xanax) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both men were being held at Cape Girardeau County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
