BENTON, Mo. -- Two Sikeston men face burglary and possession of burglary tools charges after allegedly breaking into a rural Scott County business.

Rollen Newson, 24, and Trevor Tatum 33, were arrested by Scott County sheriff's deputy Todd Irwin after Irwin stopped their truck loaded with lumber.

Approximately $2,000 worth of stole material was recovered, the Scott County sheriff's office said.

Following the men's arrest and impoundment of the truck, large bolt cutters were found in the vehicle.

Tatum and Newson were released on $2,000 bond and will appear in court July 12.
