TWO MEMBERS OF PARENTS WITHOUT PARTNERS CITED

Two local members of Parents Without Partners have been honored for their work with the organization.

Ruth Tinnin of Jackson was named President of the Year for 1992 by the Parents Without Partners Gateway Regional Council. She serves as local chapter president for the 1992-93 year.

Also honored was Tonya Myers of Jackson as Regional Board Member of the Year for 1992. She serves as treasurer of the Gateway Regional Council in 1992, and is serving in the position for 1993.

Parents Without Partners is an organization for separated, divorced, single and widowed parents who are looking for a support group for themselves and their families.

An orientation meeting for new members is planned June 17 at Community Counseling Center, Silver Springs and Bloomfield Roads.

A dance is planned June 19 at the American Legion Hall in Jackson from 8 p.m. to midnight. Admission is $5 per person.
