CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Two juveniles were arrested this week on charges of robbing the KFC restaurant at 2101 William St. In the July 21 robbery, two men entered the restaurant about 9:30 p.m., one with a gun, and demanded money. At the time of the robbery, police issued descriptions that one suspect appeared to be in his mid-20s and the other somewhat younger. The two cited into juvenile court were 14- and 15 years old, said Cape Girardeau police segeant Barry Hovis. They were cited for first degree robbery and armed criminal action. Police have not recovered the weapon used in the robbery, Hovis said. No employees were injured in the hold-up.
