Two Jackson residents were arrested May 20 as the result of a search warrant served on their residence by the Jackson Police Department, Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol.
During the arrest, officers seized approximately three pounds of marijuana, approximately two grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and over $13,000 in cash from the residence.
Eugene Mark Jones, 48, is charged as a prior drug offender with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $50,000 bond.
Brian Jones, 45, is charged with possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted a $5,000 bond.
