Two from Marble Hill sustain moderate injuries in Friday morning crash

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- A Marble Hill man and woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-car accident on Route B early Friday morning.

The accident occurred five miles east of Marble Hill at around 1 a.m. as a 1999 Ford driven by Derek A. Hulvey, 19, of Marble Hill lost control in a curve, went off the right side of the roadway and overturned, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The Ford was totaled.

Two passengers in the vehicle, Jesse W. James, 18, and Kelsi D. Bollinger, 19, both of Marble Hill, were taken to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
