The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will present its fourth annual Arts and Crafts Festival Saturday and Sunday at Capaha Park.
The crafts festival will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
There is no admission fee and concessions will be available.
This year's event is co-sponsored by the Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts. A children's art festival called Capaha Capers will be presented Saturday in conjunction with the arts and crafts festival.
Capaha Capers will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is designed for children ages 4 to 12.
Registration can be mailed to the arts council office, P.O. Box 901, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63702-0901. Forms also may be dropped off at the A.C. Brase Arena Building, Schnucks, Del Farm or the arts council office.
Children also can register Saturday at Shelter No. 2 in Capaha Park.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
