CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Two Charleston men were charged Friday with possession of controlled substances as a result of a traffic stop made by Scott County detectives.
James A. Davis, 52, and Bobby L. Moore, 50, of Charleston both face charges of possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $25,000.
In addition, Davis is charged with driving while revoked and Moore with possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter.
Scott County detectives Jeff Schmitt and Branden Caid reported they saw the two men driving Thursday on State Highway 77 east of Benton, Mo., and noticed the car weaving all over the road.
A subsequent search of the car revealed cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to Walter.
