An Advance, Mo., woman was moderately injured in a two-car accident on Tuesday afternoon in East Stoddard County. Driver Elizabeth Jones, 40, was taken by ambulance to Missouri Southern Health Care in Dexter, Mo. Driver Dustin Mason, 20, of Bloomfield, was not injured. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Missouri Highway 25, 2 miles south of Bloomfield. Mason stopped while a school bus was discharging children and Jones struck him in the rear. Jones was issued a summons for no valid drivers license, careless and imprudent driving and driving while intoxicated.
