Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter said Thursday two Cape Girardeau men are being held on drug-related charges.
Christopher M. Siebert, 24, is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of chemicals with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Siebert's bond has been set at $100,000.
Clayton L. Anderson, 20, is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of chemicals with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. His bond has been set at
$75,000.
Walter said a deputy was investigating a suspicious vehicle at an unoccupied residence west of Chaffee, Mo., on Wednesday night. Siebert and Anderson were found inside the residence, as were items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine. Siebert and Anderson were both placed under
arrest.
Walter said deputies seized all the needed components used in the manufacturing process of methamphetamine from inside the residence.
