TWO BUSINESSES IN ONE AT GORDONVILLE

Sun-U-Buns Tanning Salon offers tanning sessions and California tanning products.

A local woman has opened not one but two new businesses in Gordonville in the past month.

Becky Henley of Gordonville recently opened a clothing and gift shop and a tanning salon in her hometown.

The clothing shop, named Becky's Fashions and Gifts, offers shoppers a variety of clothing and dress accessories alongside gift items such as candles and potpourri.

On the clothing side, Becky's offers women's jeans, tops, skirts, vests, women's silk sweatsuits and silk windsuits for both men and women.

Also at Becky's are such things as shirt button covers, crafts, dolls and pen and pencil sets.

"I have several items that would be good for teachers gifts," said Henley.

Becky's offers free layaway and gift certificates and expects to be able to start accepting MasterCard and Visa within the next several days.

In the same building is Henley's other business, the appropriately named Sun-U-Buns Tanning Salon. Henley said the salon currently has one tanning bed and offers California Tanning Products.

Hours for both Becky's Fashions and Gifts and Sun-U-Buns Tanning Salon are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Henley said business hours will be extended during the peak tanning hours in the spring and summer.
