Two people were arrested Monday in Perry County after allegedly delivering marijuana to undercover authorities.
Demetrius W. Martin, 34, and Ebony R. Chadwick, 20, both of Chester, Ill., were arrested after delivering 4 ounces of marijuana to an undercover team, according to a news release from the Perry County Sheriff's Department.
Martin is charged with distribution of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Chadwick is charged with possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Martin is being held in the Perry County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond, according to online court documents.
