TV HOST TO SPEAK AT SEMINAR

Mike Smythe, who hosts the morning "Business Break" segments on KFVS-TV Channel 12, will speak Oct. 28 at the Tri-State Advertising and Marketing Professionals meeting.

The meeting will be held at noon at the Party Room at the University Center on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

Smythe, who is general sales manager for the television station, has worked in stations in Greenville, New Bern and Washington, N.C., and Dayton, Ohio. He also worked with the Television Advertising Bureau in Chicago. He is co-author of "The Pros and Cons of Media."
