The "Betina Ott and Children" fund has been set up at Montgomery Bank in Chaffee. CHAFFEE, Mo. -- A trust fund has been set up at a local bank to help the family of one of the survivors of a fatal police chase that originated in Chaffee in September 2006.

The "Betina Ott and Children" fund has been set up at Montgomery Bank in Chaffee. Donations will help pay for the care of Ott's three children and help purchase a wheelchair-accessible van for her family.

Ott was severely injured in the crash and remains paralyzed from the chest down. For more information, call the bank at 573-887-3551.
