A celebration is planned this week at Trinity Lutheran School for National Lutheran Schools Week.

Robert Hartmann, principal of the school, said a week of activities are planned beginning today. The theme for the week is "Touching Lives Forever: Christ Touches Me."

"We are just having a celebration of joy and praise and thanks to God for all the blessings he has given us," Hartmann said. "We are celebrating the fact that we exist and have had the success we've had."

During the week students will also write thank-you notes to the individuals and groups who support Trinity School.

Hartmann said the week provides a chance for Lutheran schools to tell about what's happening in the school and for students, teachers and parents to feel good about what's happening at the school.

"We will have a few extra things and some special activities, some serious and some fun," he said.
