Annabelle Cheney, 5, balances along the border of the playground at City Park while her grandfather, Brad Gill, back left, and uncle, Jacob Gill, back right, use metal detectors Tuesday in Jackson. Brad Gill said for the last seven years he has taken his metal detector out a few times a year for four or five hours at a time. He said most of what is found are coins, but occasionally jewelry.
