TRASH PICKUP WILL SUSPEND FOR HOLIDAY

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, there will be no trash pickups on Monday. The transfer station will also be closed that day.

Monday's residential routes will be picked up on Tuesday. Selected commercial services will continue as scheduled Monday.

Tuesday's residential route will be picked up on Wednesday.

There will be no Wednesday special pick-ups for the city of Cape next week.

City officials also remind citizens that to arrange a Wednesday pickup on future dates, they must call 334-9151 for an appointment. The appointment should be made before placing the refuse at the curb.

All refuse collected in this special service must be in some sort of non-returnable container. No loose trash, brush or tree limbs will be collected.
