TRASH PICKUP SCHEDULES CHANGE

Because of the Monday holiday, and Tuesday's 12-inch snowstorm, solid waste pickup schedules in Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Scott City have been revised.

In Cape Girardeau, the Monday solid waste/recycling routes ran on Wednesday. The Tuesday solid waste/recycling routes will run today. Thursday's solid waste/recycling routes will run Friday, and Friday's solid waste/recycling routes will operate on Saturday.

In Jackson, the Monday and Tuesday routes will be run next Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 22-23. The Thursday and Friday routes will run as scheduled this week.

In Scott City, the Monday and Tuesday routes were consolidated with the Thursday and Friday routes.

Chaffee residents have not missed any trash pickups this week. The city ran the usual Monday route, and was able to complete Tuesday's route before the snow became heavy. It resumed its regular trash pickup schedule on Wednesday.
