A Scott City man's motorcycle was struck by a train after getting stuck in the railroad track Friday morning on Scott County Road 305. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report, the accident happened at 5:45 a.m. when 55-year-old Dewey L. Veal drove southbound over the tracks on a closed section of the road and became stuck. Veal dismounted his 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle before it was hit by a Union-Pacific locomotive.
