Traffic will be restricted to maximum vehicle width of 7 feet to allow repairs on deck stringers, replacement of 10 joints and deck patching on the bridge. Trucks, buses, motor homes and vehicles pulling trailers will be prohibited from the bridge for about 50 days. Vehicles more than 19 feet long as well as dual-wheeled vehicles and vehicles pulling trailers will also be prohibited.

The bridge also carries U.S. 60 and U.S. 62 between Kentucky and Illinois. It immediately connects with the U.S. 60/U.S. 62 Mississippi River bridge, which carries traffic between Illinois and Missouri.
