Traffic was detoured Monday off Broadway after a truck ran off the road and struck a utility pole.
A motorist driving a 2006 Ford F-150 ran off the road and hit a utility pole at Broadway and Harmony Street. No injuries were reported, Cape Girardeau Police Department Sgt. Jason Selzer said.
Selzer said the call came in at 2:38 p.m. Ameren Missouri workers were on the scene to fix the pole, he said.
Traffic just in the eastbound lanes was detoured around the 900 block of Broadway, Selzer said. No one lost power. The wires were still connected, but the pole was broken at the base.
