Working mom needs help for children
This single, working mom does the best she can for her three children. Her income falls between the guidelines to get any extra help, and her wages go to paying bills. The family lives in a Habitat House, and the children are involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters. The oldest child is developmentally disabled and has tutoring and a resource teacher for her learning disabilities. She would like some journals, board games, cards, scrap booking supplies and jewelry. The 9-year-old boy likes football, basketball, soccer, books and puzzles. The youngest likes anything with a Hannah Montana theme. Bring new toys to any Toybox location, including the Southeast Missourian, or make a monetary donation to Toybox, P.O. Box 4, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63702. For all our needy Toybox families, here are some popular requests: Board games, race cars, trucks, dolls, learning toys, puzzles, books, Hannah Montana and Spider-Man items, balls, drawing materials and Dora the Explorer, Indiana Jones and High School Musical items.
