Town hall meeting to address right to farm
A town-hall meeting about Amendment 1, or right-to-farm, will be hosted at 7 p.m. today at Flickerwood Arena, 3019 Larch Lane in Jackson. The event features guest speakers Larry Miller of the Cape Girardeau County Farm Bureau and state Rep. Kathy Swan. The amendment is up for voter approval on the Aug. 5 ballot.
