Southeast Missouri State University's Touring Theatre, in its fifth season, will be bringing the songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein to Cape Girardeau May 28-29.

The musical revue entitled "Some Enchanted Evening: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein" showcases 11 of their favorite collaborations.

Some of the songs include "Oh What A Beautiful Mornin'," "Maria," "Sixteen Going on Seventeen," "The Sound of Music," and "Oklahoma."

The revue showcases talents of Patti Miller-Hunt, Chris Hayes, Delisa Hedseth, Joshua Rhine with Tim DePriest serving as pianist and Brandon Nielson as stage manager.

Dennis C. Seyer, associate professor of Speech Communication and Theatre Department, serves as director and production designer, Ellen Seyer, also of the department, serves as musical director and choreographer.

Performances begin at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $3 and $5 and are available one hour before curtain at the Forrest H. Rose Theatre box office.
