Christmas promotion ideas and bicentennial projects are among topics on the agenda of a general membership meeting of the Greater Downtown Merchants Association.
The meeting will be held Aug. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at Port Cape Girardeau.
The group approved a purchase of 100 red roses during its recent July meeting. The roses will be obtained from Vision 2000, at a cost of $450, and will be planted in the spring along the flood wall.
