Today is voter registration deadline for Aug. 4 election

Today is the last day to register to vote before the Aug. 4 election.

Those who wish to register can do so in person at their local county clerk's office -- the election authority -- or to submit an application via mail. Mail-in applications must be postmarked by today to be accepted.

Voter registration and election information are available through the Missouri Secretary of State's website at sos.mo.gov/elections.
