TIPPER GORE MAY VISIT HERE FRIDAY

Tipper Gore, the wife of Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Albert Gore of Tennessee, is tentatively scheduled to make a campaign appearance in Cape Girardeau Friday afternoon.

Details of the visit have not been worked out; however, staff from the Clinton-Gore campaign in Missouri began laying the groundwork for the visit Monday. Mrs. Gore will spend two or three hours in the city.

Last Wednesday, First Lady Barbara Bush appeared at the Southeast Missouri District Fair as part of a campaign swing for her husband.
