The River Campus of Southeast Missouri State University will celebrate its 10th year in 2017.

Tickets for the March 7 anniversary celebration and tickets for the entire 2016-2017 season go on sale Monday.

The 10th anniversary celebration includes a choral and symphonic tribute to honor the Vincentians, the religious order that established a seminary in 1843 at the location where the campus now sits. The concert will include a commissioned symphony piece being written by Gordon “Dick” Goodwin, professor emeritus at the University of South Carolina, specifically for the occasion, as well as a performance by the Concerto and Aria and Rising Star Competition winners.

Attendees will be able to take tours of the River Campus before the ceremony.

Tickets for the anniversary concert are $16 and $19 for the event. They may be purchased online at www.rivercampusevents.com or by calling (573) 651-2265.
