THREE LOCAL ANGLERS AMONG TOP 12 SPOTS IN TOURNAMENT

Three Jackson fishermen placed in the top 12 at last weekend's Missouri Bass Federation Tournament held at Truman Lake and qualified for divisional competition.

Doug Flannery of Jackson, a member of the River City Hookers bass club of Cape Girardeau, placed third among the 340 fishermen in the competition. In the two-day tournament, Flannery's total weighed in at 14 pounds, 9.5 ounces.

Also qualifying for the divisional tournament, to be held in June in Toledo Bend, Texas, were Mark Nagel and Chuck Roberts. Both men are members of the Mossbacks bass club.
