The accident happened just after 8 p.m. Sunday, the patrol said, when the Brunings' car pulled out in front of Desroche's motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the driver's side of the car, throwing Desroche and Kaut from the motorcycle and fatally injuring Bruning.

Desroche was pronounced dead at the scene. Bruning died later that night at a hospital, and Kaut died early Monday.
