THREE INJURED IN SEPARATE ACCIDENTS
Three people were injured in separate accidents on area roads Thursday. Three people were injured in separate accidents on area roads Thursday.
The first accident occurred on County Road 517 in Scott County when a vehicle driven by Eric Sadler, 21, of Essex ran off the road on a curve and came to rest in a ditch.
Sadler was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston with moderate injuries after the 1:12 a.m. accident.

His passenger, Bonita Jones, 21, of Essex sustained minor injuries.
A 12-year-old pedestrian was injured on Route N in Delta Thursday night when he ran into the path of a vehicle. Vincent Flores was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau with moderate injuries after the 6:50 p.m. accident.
The driver of the car, Jimmy Russom, 57, of Chaffee was not injured.
