THREE INJURED IN COLLISION

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- A Thebes, Ill., woman was in serious condition in the intensive care unit of Southeast Missouri Hospital Sunday after a head-on collision near Olive Branch, Ill., Saturday evening. Rocio Garcia, 24, was traveling north on Route 3 near the southeast end of Olive Branch at about 6:55 p.m. when William Wirth, 31, of Olive Branch attempted to pass a farm vehicle in the southbound lane, according to the Illinois State Police.
