Three local elementary school students brought home awards from the 10th annual Missouri Student Mathematics Contest State Competition in Columbia this month.
Allison Bryant, a sixth-grader at Alma Schrader School, placed fifth in problem solving; Ryan Granger, a sixth-grader at West Lane Elementary School in Jackson, placed eighth in Concepts; and Danny Robert, a fifth grader at St. Mary's School, took ninth in concepts.
