Three students at Southeast Missouri State University were recently chosen as representatives for the school in the national Harry S. Truman Scholarship competition.

Nathan Cooper, Justin Heinrich and Christopher Robertson were chosen for the competition.

Cooper of Caledonia is the state chair of the College Republicans and is a staff writer for the Capaha Arrow.

Heinrich of Brookfield, Wis., is involved with the University AIDS program.

Robertson of Cape Girardeau is also involved in the College Republicans, Model United Nations and environmental issues.

All finalists will be notified this week if they received the scholarship.
