CARDWELL, Mo. Three people were arrested Thursday, suspected of running a methamphetamine lab at a Cardwell residence.
A Cardwell police officer noticed a strong chemical odor coming from the residence, which is located on South Main Street. The officer contacted the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department.
A drug task force discovered a clandestine methamphatamine lab and a large amount of cash.
Arrested were Kristopher M. Anstiss, 29, and Sindy K. Hancock, 33, both of Cardwell. Both were charged with attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. Anstiss' bond has been set at $100,000. Hancock's, bond was set at $50,000. Jeffrey Scott Anstiss, 33, of Paragould, Ark., was charged with attempt to manufacture methamphetamine. His bond was set at $25,000. All three are currently in the Dunklin County Jail.
