BENTON, Mo. -- Scott County authorities arrested a third person in connection with a reported early Friday morning kidnapping.
Andrew Robinett, Ashley Ivie and Bryce Western, all of Sikeston, Mo., are in custody, according to a Scott County Sheriff's Department news release.
Robinett, 26, is charged with first-degree assault, kidnapping, felonious restraint and unlawful use of a weapon, all felonies. He was in the Scott County Jail on Friday night on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
Ivie, 20, is charged with kidnapping, felonious restraint and second-degree assault. She was jailed on a $75,000 bond.
Western, 18, is charged with felony kidnapping, felonious restraint and felony second-degree assault. His bond is set at $75,000
Sheriff Rick Walter didn't release further details of the reported kidnapping in a phone interview or in the news release.
The suspects kidnapped a man, physically assaulted him and held him against his will for several hours overnight, Walter said.
Walter declined to release details about the time of the kidnapping, the victim's age or the kidnappers' motives, but he said the victim -- who is an adult -- knew his attackers.
"All parties knew each other," he said. "This wasn't just random. This was someone he knew. ... We have a motive, but we're not going to release that just yet."
The victim was injured but was not in the hospital late Friday, Walter said. He declined to comment on the extent of the victim's injuries or whether he had been hospitalized at any point.
"Nothing life-threatening, obviously, because he's been at the office," Walter said. "We've interviewed him."
