Three arrested in connection with Chaffee store burglary
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Three men were charged Monday in connection with a burglary in Chaffee. Jacob A. Hency, 19, of Chaffee was charged with property damage, felony stealing and second-degree burglary. He is being held on a $25,000 bond. Gabriel A. Bentley, 17, of Chaffee and Ryan M. Helper, 21, of Cape Girardeau were charged with receiving stolen property.

Chaffee police chief James Chambers said the suspects allegedly stole cigarettes, tobacco products and less than $100 in cash from Larry's Quick Mart on East Yoakum Avenue. He said the men broke in around 2 a.m. Oct. 11, damaging the front door and the store's safe.
