SIKESTON, Mo. -- Three people have been arrested in connection with shots fired Monday night in the 800 block of Ruth Street in Sikeston. No one was reported injured in the incident.
According to the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, a call in reference to the shots was received at 10:04 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene and were told people were shooting at a moving vehicle. One bullet had gone through the back window of the car and into the vehicle. Officials were unsure how many, if any, other shots were fired.
The firearm used was confirmed by the Cape Girardeau Police Department to be a stolen weapon.
