The American Red Cross is cosponsoring three blood drives this month.
The first is on Thursday at the Southeast Missouri State University Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Clerical and technical service employees are co-sponsoring the drive.
St. Joseph Catholic Church is co-sponsoring a Sunday blood drive at the parish center and school from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
On June 27, St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton is co-sponsoring a blood drive from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the St. Denis Catholic Church Parish Center.
Each blood donation can save as many as three lives. In order to give blood, individuals must weigh at least 110 pounds, be at least 17 years old (16 in Illinois with parental consent) and be in good health.
