KENNETT, Mo. -- According to the Daily Dunklin Democrat, a bomb threat at Kennett High School on Sunday night turned out to be a hoax. According to superintendent Jerry Noble, "as a teacher was entering the high school building Sunday night at about 8:30 p.m., she noticed a piece of paper had been folded and placed in the door. Written on the paper was a note saying that someone was going to blow up the school." Noble said authorities thoroughly searched the campus and found no evidence of a bomb.
